One look at the duo of Dresden Dolls and you'd be hard-pressed to work out who is more attractive. The sexy, slutty appeal of this twosome from Boston, (America not Lincolnshire)  puppets a quirky image to which their piano-driven pop with cabaret tendencies only adds yet more theatrics. And that's probably the most pretentious piece you'll see written on this site, so enjoy it and don't let it put you off. Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione ooze sin, sex and love in equal measures, lusted after by their legions of fans worldwide. Watching them, you can't help but feel you've stepped into a peepshow: shamelessly ogling the duo in their smeared make-up and laddered tights, with their fun-filled, melodic soundtrack accompanying the onstage antics, delivers a highly entertaining - and inescapably arousing - experience. Barbie Beware.
