Josh Homme, frontman of the eclectic US rockers Queens Of The Stone Age has commented on the plans for their latest record since the 2007 ‘Era Vulgaris’ LP. Saying the record will be like a firework display. ‘I want the next Queens record to be like a condensed firework show where it's all grand finale.' As perplexing as this statement is Blasst cannot wait for such a record, but also hopes that they make it to the release date. The Stone age Queens haven’t always seen eye to eye and with Homme also commenting on their being no chance of a reunion if they were to split, I think thin ice lays across the future road for the band. 'A buddy of mine said, 'Never do a reunion. Never do a sequel.' He's right. It's not what it was, it's what it is. 'And I've always been obsessed with now, because what's done is done and I can't go backwards. And I'm not going to walk backwards into my future, the only way I'll have a future is if I pay attention to now.' Look out for any new developments on what promises to be one of the next few years’ biggest records.
